will be bringing him in via video conference for Q&A during his panel slot!

Join us for an informal hang out before the con! We will be providing an ARMY egg hunt, complete with
purple eggs filled with BTS goodies, Korean and BTS related games, and individually packaged snacks and

What’s Our Story?
(Who are we and why are we doing this?)
Well, this is my story from the inagural Borahae Con in 2024.
Why are we doing this again? Because you all asked for more!! :)
Hi, I’m Amanda Dobra Hope. I'm a former dual dance studio owner and dance instructor turned
holistic life coach/author/speaker/corporate culture happiness and wellness consultant/soul-
alignment coach/non-denominational wedding officiant (I know, it's a lot, but it's all related, and
you can already see why I like BTS :)). For me, it all started when I was looking for upbeat music with
either lyrics I didn't understand so they couldn't get in my head, or something positive so that I
wouldn't be repeating negative lyric mantras in my head consistently.
I started by listening to KPOP playlists while dancing/exercising on the recommendation of my
husband, and realized that every time I completely dug a song, it turned out it was BTS! After that,
like many of you, I looked them up online to see some performances. Holy moly was I blown away as
a former performing artist and lifelong creative. The final product of their talent and artistry, the
stage design, the lighting, the choreography, and everything else that went into one of their shows!
I wanted to know their names, and down the rabbit hole I went. (You know how it is ;)) When I found
out some of their missions, cultural and international merit awards, and campaigns—as a life coach
and personal growth author/speaker, I couldn't get enough.
Then I found out that they had variety shows, behind the scenes, and all other manner of content
that showed off their awesome personalities. After that, I ended up spending the last couple years
ridiculously emerged in everything BTS. It happened to be a few years of quiet, holding space, and
healing for me where I couldn't do much else or move the needle in any direction of my life, I
literally just had to wait. And they were there. They kept me entertained, gave me inspiration and
joy, made me cry, and sustained my hope for humanity and my own contributions to the universe.
That's just my story. I know you have yours.
And you'll get to share it at this con. (We will have a “Share your BTS story” room).
As a former dual-dance studio owner, wedding business owner, and lifelong event planner of all
types, it occurred to me that my next project in life was indeed going to be a product of everything
that I'd soaked in during the years when everything was “on hold” for me! I set out to find a team of
fellow BTS ARMY who are also amazing event planners, and Derek, Meghann, and family replied with
enthusiasm!
So here we are, putting on this con for all of you. Why? To bring joy, healing, community,
celebration, and love for each other, the planet, and all things BTS.
We've got so much planned for you!
